We generally haul our lime, have someone else spread it. In my experiance, you can haul it from any plant in the summer and it won't be too gummy if it doesn't get rained on. Bay City (at least the last few years) dries their lime, lot easier to handle this time of year. The other plants don't dry theirs. For hauling, check with Rayl Farms in Akron (989-691-5713). Post back if that doesn't work out, I can get you some other names. You mentioned hauling out of Saginaw- is there still loaders there? They haven't dumped beets there in a couple of years, but have (like all the sugar plants) mountains of lime to get rid of.
