what works in some areas. dosnt work well in outhers,here deep chisheling pays big $, here in the NE corn belt you can run out of time in the spring,I don't get it all done ,but we try.
tillage meens upwards of 20-30 bu an ac more,and more timely planting,with less pulled hair!
we dont do any HEL ground,or sloping ground in exes of 10% slopes.
I am findingthat tillage in the fall on our sands pay good returns also.
