Thumb of Michigan | Now them school bus figure 8's can't be described accurately till you actually see one, can they? About the darndest thing I've ever seen. First one I ever saw, a couple of guys were running big blocks with automatics and (I heard) a bit of nitrous. Not uncommon to see a bus get flopped over in those deals.
Same track that has those also have trailer figure 8's, as well as a "chain gang" . The chain gang runs ovals, not on the 8. Front car has a motor, back car doesn't. Hook em up with a chain. I don't know if I'd like to be the guy steering the back car. Some of those guys are pretty handy getting around the track, lots aren't. The trailer thing is a scream. Doesn't matter if its a camper trailer, a boat and trailer, or anything else. Long as you tow something. They run those on the figure 8. It reminds me of the news when a tornado hits a trailer park. They pretty well have everything covered with debris when they get done. | |
