Effingham, IL | I posted this on CaseIH forum, thought I'd post it here too. I had not been routinely replacing inner air (saftey} filters, but my 1688 combine's restrictor indicator would be close to the red line shortly after running with a clean outer filter. I assumed the indicator spring was getting weak since the inner looked clean. It was a little dark. Anyway I changed both and now I can run a long time before indicator is close to the line. Needless to say the inner filters are getting changed on all my equipment. Craig | |
