| I don't put much stock in yield monitor yields and I have been using them for 8 years or so. Two years ago I shelled almost 25,000 bu corn on one farm & was off less than 50 bu compared to the elevator scales. Moved across the road & shelled 2,000 bu & was off by over 150 bu, same corn planted the same day. Nothing was done to the combine in between fields.
About the only thing we use ours for is comparing hybrids in the field. Figure most times if it's off it's off by the same percentage. | |
