332 allows user configuration without an external display or laptop
332 allows use of the Coast Guard Beacon signal
252 interfaces well with the Joey-style RTK radio
to use different signals, the 252 just requires upgrade codes, while the 332 requires purchase of a separate antenna
sounds to me like 6 of 1, half-dozen of the other
