Alberta, Canada | Haven't seen any used for grinding corn either, they're mostly used for grinding bales for loading into a TMR (or probably just a feed wagon). I imagine they'd work fairly well though... You mentioned something about using a roller mill, have you thought of using a tub grinder/mixer mill? (big one, like ours)
The new bale processor we're getting, had an 80% cracking rate for oats, higher for barley, and had completely ground the corn. Unfortunately it wouldn't work for this purpose, probably has to be running feed through as well.
