Watford City, ND
While I've never been in a 9020T series tractor, my exprience with JD vs. Cats with Tracks has always favored Cats. I can think about 2 or 3 farmers that I've gone from JD's to Cats. According to them, Cat's seem to get better fuel economy. Also, I've heard time and time again that the MT's are head and shoulders above everyone else in offering a smooth ride. I guess their suspension is superb.

As for my personal expirence, I've been in a 9400T and a 95E. The 9400T was bumpy and a termendoue fuel hog. The 95E, for whatever reasons, pulled better, more fuel efficent, and and much more comfortable ride. I was never in one long enough for this to be an issuse, but the owner told me that the tracks on his JD's just didn't hold up as well as his 95E.

Hope this helps a litte. Biggest concern should be dealership serivce, and price affordablity.

Have a Day,
Marco
