The ONLY prevention to closing plants similar to the DMI and New Holland plants that will be closing is to sever ties with the union(s). Manufacturing companies all over this country are into to these pirates (unions) for so much that there may not even be "the light at the end of the tunnel" anylonger. Retooling and upgrading facitlites are also major factors in why plnts close and move. Remember, "what's good for the many (stockholders) outways the good of the few (employees)...it's called efficiency. Afterall, most wveryone will be offered the opportunity to relocate (the cost of wanting to keep a good job).
