Alton, Ia | We had similar issues inside our house. I was within hours of going all out and ordering the strongest, biggest booster Wilson makes. 60 Db gain, yagi antenna, so on. But then I went to the local verizon one more time, signed up for a different plan, included was a new phone, told them I didn't care what features the phone had, I wanted the best signal strength phone they had. got a new Motorola V325 phone. Have had almost no dropped calls since. It was alot cheaper ($0) than the booster ~$1000, plus it goes with me.
Our situatioin may be slightly different, because we had okay but not great reception outside the house, but if you can get a loaner phone it may be worth a shot. Good luck.
BTW, whoever came up with the marketing slogan "can you hear me now" was a genius. Anyone who has ever had a cel phone understands the frustration. | |
