Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | Not Ed,but I think what he means is that a drag auger like that always leaves a thin layer of grain,except for the end foot where the grain vac sucks the ground/pad surface squeaky clean. That way you can run a foot closer to the pile with each pass without the tractor running over any grain. with the drag auger connected directly to an auger/paddle/belt elevator that foot of grain remains ,requiring sweeping it away or running over it with the tractor. |
