North Central Kansas | My calving shed ended up on top of my calf cradle. The shed looks ok except for some tin on the roof. Calf cradle looks like a total loss. We had a fire today too. We had all 14 of our districts trucks there and 3 trucks from another district. The wind actually was blowing so hard that the fire couldn't spread out. It forced it in a narrow band up accross a CRP field and a pasture. Used alot of water making sure everything was totally extinguished. Front came through and we got about 30 hundredths of rain. Looks to be a very impressive storm to the east. | |
