IL. | If you hire a contractor give them only the money you feel to cover labor before makeing final payment get lien waviers from ALL the suppliers and sub contractors involved included the general contractor himself, like stated above have all material billed to you directly, but keep a eye on the purchases, to be sure he's not padding the bill for another job. Isn't it a shame you can't trust anyone anymore. My first tractor I bought with a handshake and a check from the bank with a promise to call with the SN when I got it home.(I was 17) try that now LOL Bob | |
