south east SD | Have a neighbor who has one on a new CAT running on tracks, I think the one before the biggest. He talked about the feeder house belt would stop and burn the belt every half hour? Got tired of stopping and spraying belt dressing on all the time. Talked to Cat and they said the head needed to much power. Talked to Geringhoff and they said they could upgrade to the next bigger feeder house drive from Cat. Says they found a wrecked biggest Cat and got the drive off it. He said the drive on there's was 150 HP and the drive they are putting on is 220 HP? These guys are BTO and cover a ton of ground. Got all this when ridding in there Cat track tractor with them. The biggest they make pulling a 20 foot disk ripper 8 mph. | |
