Subject: Krause chisel plow sheer bolts?

Central Il Morton
Have a Krause C plow [like a soil saver] that uses 9/16 sheer bolts.
We seem to break one per hr.
They are grade 8 and expensive!
Would we be better off boring the shanks and brackets to 5/8 and using grade 5 or just keep using the 9/16 grade 8 bolts?
These bolts aren't sheering they are pulled apart.
Is the tensile strength of a grade 8 less than a grade 5?
We are not putting a lot of Hp on this plow or depth, just turning a lot of dirt up to cover stalks.

Thanks
