No, I have not. But if you are going to be at Courthouse and Jail Rocks I would lie very much for you to take a look in a general area.

Do you have some kind of hand held GPS? Or maybe a Street Pilot?
Both with show latitude and longitude. I would assume based on normal error the actual point is within 20’ of the tack point. Probably within 10’
The tack at the Red arrow is at 44.59—º -103.11—º
What looks like a large rock, at the Yellow arrow. Should make the area easier to find.
The Find My Drone position is about 34’ from the northwest corner of that rock.
This area is a sloping grass area on the south side of the Jail. Not level, but should not be hard to walk on.

This is a closeup of the way I would walk to the area. pretty much along the Black arrows.
From the road into the parking lot, park about due east of the Jail.
Tacks are named by the elevation according to Google Earth
Tack 3818’ , by the road, start the walk.
Tack 3800’ is in the bottom of the gully. The distance finder shows 148’ from the road to bottom of gully.
From bottom of gully to leveler spot on west side, tack 3812’ - about 80’
From west edge of gully to tack 3821’. Looks to me 3821’ is about where the slope starts to increase. About 175’ from west edge of gully to tack 3821’. And 9’ of rise between the gully and start of steep.
I read 205’ from tack 3821’ to the Find My Drone position, tack 44-º / 103-º
And I show elevation of 3857’ at the Find My Drone spot.
The tack just to the north is at 3865’. Cannot get tacks super close together.
So a climb from the start of the steep part of 36’.
Remember about 35’ from rock to find my drone.

This is the Google Earth getting the angle to the surface pretty close. Does show the lay of the land. But not 100% on the money.

This is pretty much how I had at first decided to walk to the point, if I went back.
From the parking lot. Along the Red arrows. That is back two weeks ago.
Parking lot tack #1- to a point at the start of a gully on the north side of the Jail, tack #2.
Worn footpath that you can see some in picture. I walked this path on July 8 returning from looking for the drone in the gully.
About 350’. And tack #2 is about 15’ lower than the parking lot.
From tack #2 to tack #3 northeast of the Jail Rock.
About 500’. And point #3 is lower than #2.
From tack #3 to tack 3821’, east of the Jail, about 300’. Looks to you bow your walk a bit to the east, you would not have much grade difference.
So about 1150’ along the Red arrow route.
Vs about 400’ from the road south of Jail Rock. But the shorter route has that gully to cross. But really does not look too bad.

That offer still stands, in fact if you find the Mavic, I will ship you the controller that you need to fly it. Plus hook up cables.
I now have a new Mavic.
