Subject: RE: Pass to pass accuracy for auto steer systems

If I remember correctly, Pass-to-Pass accuracy is stated over a 15 minute time frame. Static accuracy is stated over a 24 hour period and normally P-t-P accuracy is quoted by sales people because P-t-P is normally 3 times greater than Static.

This is why when a farmer sits at the end of the field to fill a drill, chemical, or what ever, some times drift is experienced because it could take longer than 15 minutes. I think most growers do not experience mega drift when moving within the field (unless they are using WAAS). Let’s face it all systems are getting better in the P-t-P department.
