Thatt was my dad's first combine. I remember seeing a picture of it . No cab. Will have to do some diggin to find the picture. About the Brauds, Ours are twin rotors and only for corn, but they did make conventional combines which could harvest other crops as well. The 108 had a rock trap that would drop the concaves when the pressure got too high. You are able to adjust this pressure. The chaffer and sieve are fixed, they cannot be opened or closed. You can change to different size screens however. The engine compartment is right behind the seat. It will keep you warm but it's pretty noisy. Cylinder speed was hydraulically adjustable as was the header speed. Wind speed was manual from the cab. I gotta get off the combine to change the windspeed on my JD 8820. Guess they were one step ahead.
