Kinze is only brand I have experience with so I cannot compare, only tell you our history. With the old 1040 we would trade annually because the cart would not make it another year. We have gone to the 1050 now and it has a little over 4 million bu through it, there is still paint on the vertical auger and have not had one single breakdown to date. We have it on a 4 wheel drive and more often than not it is also in road gear, loaded, crossing sprinkler tracks, hitting badger holes, whatever else. Pretty durable machine to do this at 20 mph with big auger folded out and still have not had a breakdown. I did reinforce auger some when new but other than that, nothing. Other poster is correct, you don't want a rookie in it unless you have a grain vac on standby. It unloads fast, and it don't take long to put 50 bu at a time on the ground. Neighbor has a Balzer, I don't believe they have had any trouble with it either.
