Our BBI is maxed out at 2.5 tons and 30' spread width at about 11 mph. The rented Chandler would put the same rate on at a fir bit faster speed. We've since changed a motor to increase the apron speed in the BBI but it's not really very effective at increasing capacity because you will run the fans over if you try to get it to put out much faster then that.
Someone looking for a spreader?
