Subject: Sprayer tenders

Scotland

Somebody had some pics of a sprayer tender where you could bypass the venturi for the inductor. Any idea where I could find them or failing that does anybody else have any ideas.

The basic idea is to mix up the fungicides in a main 1000 litre capacity tank, and then when filling the sprayer add any herbicides through one or two other bowls and a venturi. This would mean that the main tank would not have to be decontaminated when going from wheat to canola or vice versa.

Any other suggestions for what I should put on the tender? I am going to use a pair of Shurflo 12V pumps for container washing. A petrol engined pacer pump for filling the tender with water and a hydraulic driven one for mixing and transfer. Why two pumps? Well the tender also doubles up as fire truck at harvest and doing it this way would use less petrol. Also the tender would be pulled by a tractor so there is hydraulic power there for the mixing and transfer pump.

Look forward to your views.
