Dutch, No, we have better bruise free results fluming rather than hogging them. We used to hog all of our potatoes but now we can flume from our new facility. I believe the key is to have lots and lots of water in the flume line. When we transload from our old facility we still use a hog to load them on a truck. Then we haul them to the new site for processing. I am about to post pics of the new automated grader on the machinery page. Below is one of our hogs.
