Lots of people love Stihl.  I'm not in the fan club.

I've just spent about 2½ hours this morning trying to replace the switch on mine.  I feel Disney has a viable law suit against Stihl due to all the Mickey Mouse parts that comprise that trimmer.

It's a Lego nightmare.  Little pieces of plastic everywhere and easily broken evidently.  The trigger assembly is multiple pieces and the lower assembly where the trigger sets broke.  The trigger no longer will stay.

I really don't like working on small engages and this one is at the top of the list for junk parts of plastic and excessive engineering so that things only fit once.
