Southwest MO | For you car nuts out there, the Barrett jackson auto auction started on tuesday night and will be on live every night through sunday, including saturday and sunday afternoon on SPEED channel.
They specialize in restored antique cars and all kinds of muscle cars, but will have a few other things mixed in. The cars they sold last night averaged $25000. They sold several cars from the tv show Monster Garage, they only brought 6-8000 each.
The big night is Saturday night, they will be selling the car from the tv show the Monkees from the 1960's. Also will sell a Shelby GT 500 convertable that belonged to Carroll Shelby.
Last year they sold his personal Cobra super snake and it brought 5 million dollars.
