10% commission if you buy in person, 12% over the phone, 8% to the buyer.
15-17% commission if you buy something such as a poster or toy car at a vender there.
They sold a Cobra for 5,000,000 there. Barrett-Jackson made a minimum of 900,000 on commission from that car. If you are a buyer, seller, or vendor there, they should include a BJ with your purchese or sale. And if you want to go and just watch, a ticket is from 20 to 50 bucks (get more expensive as the week goes on). So ya, B-J makes a tad bit of money, but not off us! |
