Northwest iowa | I went to a 244j from a big skid steer (328D). There’s really no comparison between the two in my opinion. The little loader is here to stay. It outperforms the skid steer and is handier to operate. I had a tracked jcb for a while some years ago, and while it was quite a machine in many applications I still like the payloader better. I’ve never used a brush cutter so can’t help with that. I also have a L70 volvo and a 735 manitou telehandler here. The 244j is the favorite to run. If possible find one with boom suspension, mine lacks that but the other loaders have it and it’s worth any extra cost. | |
