E ND | That's a tough call, if you don't have either right now and can only have one. It's tough to find a CWL with high flow hydraulics and creeper with independent control of ground speed and engine RPM. Cat has been doing it since the H series but have to have the right options package. Don't try to run hydraulic attachments without this! I'm sure some others have it but it isn't super common.
Keep in mind the CWL's don't have much more, and sometimes less vertical lift height and reach than a large frame skid/compact track loader for loading the mixer.
If the mixer loading is the priority and the tree puller/shredder is the secondary role and you're not trying to work on extreme slopes or wet/muddy conditions I would go CWL.
If the tree puller/shredder is the primary goal, and you need to do that in rough conditions I'd go CTL. | |
