Grandview Mo. | 10 years ago I was looking at putting in a new bed so I read about fabric or not. The upshot was; No fabric, dig down and remove 4+ inches of soil, plant at that depth, then mulch with 4 inches. This did away with any weed seeds to that depth and slowed the progression (no sun) of new weeds that were deeper.
This year I pulled all weeds I can find and put a good layer of Preen on the mulch, water it in and hope for the best. | |
