Embarrass WI | I use 12" wide strips of heavy rubber belting. Sometimes old carpeting. If you use carpeting it can cover all the fabric, water will go through it. I started using fabric in the garden to avoid weeding, but the fabric I have found lets enough light through that weeds still grow under it. The carpeting blocks enough light so nothing germinates under the fabric. Pick it up in the fall and it's good for several years. | |
