Just toss some dirt out on it in strategic places. That what I had to do to mine for my garden. The stakes.thst come with it won't do the trick in the spring wind here on the plains either, and I don't want to tear it up by poking bigger holes in it with rebar. It's a heavy burlap type material that water permeates straight thru. It's set up to do drip irrigation. It gets picked up every fall.
