coast of Maine		Here,siding that has asbestos is considered Ok.You should keep it painted.It is removal that is an issue.I had to bore a vent thru a assumed asbestos siding recently.I kept water at the cutting tool bit,chucked all debris,cleaned up with damp rags chucked them.The stuff is darn hard to cut thru despite being thin.I thought I was doing it correctly,,got thinking of the dust in the water run off...
