Sorry Tim, that's not the case. MON810 gene (Monsanto's YieldGuard) does not have any herbicide resistance built in. However, Syngenta's Bt11, also called YieldGuard, does have corn borer protection and Liberty resistance. Starlink and Herculex both had/have Liberty resistance built in, as these were used as "markers", but are useful in the field as well.

SR corn lasted a year or so due to few, if any other countries accepting it.
