Subject: RE: Juicer

East of Broken Bow
We have a garden where we have things that come into season, and it seems like we freeze what we want, and then can't keep up eating without some going bad. Was just thinking something like a juicer might let us get some good out of them.
Examples would be strawberries, we have a decent sized patch that lets us eat what we want, and freeze what we want, and still have extra. The kids will make smoothies with some, but just wondering if a juicer might be another way to utilize them.
Other things we have seasonal, that we rarely utilize all of would be:
Apples (have 3 apple trees)
Raspberries
Cherries
and other things like beans, peas, lettuce, spinach, and melons. I can see the melons making good juice, but not sure about the others, but I have heard about people juicing them.
Just thinking in my head if it might be worth trying a $100 juicer and see if it offsets buying $100 worth of juice or not.
