Subject: Juicer

East of Broken Bow
I was thinking about maybe getting a juicer. We have a nice patch of strawberries that produce more than we can eat every year, and some fruit trees that on a good year also produce more than we know what to do with. We freeze some, can some, give some away, and still have extra of some things. Thinking to myself that something like a juicer might be a fun way to utilize some of these. All of us like juice, and thinking that it might be a fun way for kids to make their own healthy drinks, and even experiment a bit with mixing different flavors.
Anyway, to my questions: How well do juicers work? How easy/hard are they to clean? Does anyone have one they would recommend, or at least a type of juicer that they would recommend.
Personally, I would just want one that works, that we could maybe scrape out the pulp and throw in the dishwasher for cleaning. Budget is a consideration, but I would be willing to pay for quality.

Thanks in advance.
