At wally world tonight looking at the hard drives and noticed on the compatibly chart win 7 wasn't mentioned.

Would that be because it is obselite.?

The SSD will work on Win 7 fine. Its probably not mentioned because its obsolete.

Look here for good deals on hard drives, they ship fast. You need to set the parameters for drive capacity.
