OK, so it seems to be GPS related.....
Where is your antenna located ? (on top of the cabin, in front of the cabin, above the cabin so as not to be in the shade of the bin, etc....)
What are your GPS settings concerning satelite angle (also known as elevation mask) ? (maybe it cuts the satelite off too soon).
As TORN asked, did you check with the Trimble planning software if you had enough satelites in your constellation to have a reliable signal ?
Your maps should still be of some value with the use of some averaging functions. Spot maps are good to find exceptions, but the trend should give you enough info to make prescriptions for next season
