Subject: Snowed In Comfort Food

Hillsboro, TN
We've got about 7-8" of snow. It's 15°F feels like 3°, so the brine/salt combination on the roads is ineffective. Usually, at least, the interstate and state highways are clear, but this go-'round all roads in the mid-state are super slick. We are not accustomed to this type of weather.

Anyway, we're "stuck" at home for a few days.

So far I've made beef stew and chili, then tonight made smoked sausage, pinto beans, fried cabbage, stewed potatoes, and cornbread.

What are y'alls "go to" snowy day comfort foods?
