Pittsburg, Kansas | Not what you ask but this is some information you might be interested in. My FIL is almost blind with it. He is mid 80's in age.
So far I have avoided it although I do have glaucoma. I particularly would like to avoid macular degeneration. So I try to learn what I can to prevent further degradation of my vision.
