Central Illinois | They will give pain meds and order a CT scan to determine size and location of the stone. Some vary from immediate surgery to scheduling a month or 2 out or if pain flares up, which ever comes first. Praying he gets relief.
My son didn't like the idea of surgery, so he took some advice of drinking club soda. It helped dissolve the stone he had. He also drank more water. That combination helped him. No surgery yet and no pain from a kidney stone. He will have a bottle of club soda about once a month as a preventative measure. | |
