| As others have said, you may or may not have anything to gain by going SF6000 or SF7000 if you are happy with your current RTK system, and your dealer or other supplier has no plans to shut down with SF-RTK now out. However, I have found value in running SF6000s over SF3000s for RTK just for the much longer RTK-X. It also does a much better job on the Gator for making field boundaries. Outside of those two situations, I see no other reason to upgrade if you like what you have.
If you want implement guidance, the Gen4 is a huge upgrade over the 2630! Haven't had a chance to see a G5 yet though. The GS3 is pretty much just down to running an old ground driven soybean planter and the bean combine, places where we don't need RTK or anything fancy there. | |
