I can't understand why people pay double or triple the cost for technology from Deere when there are vastly cheaper options. The software to do everything for much cheaper is available and the hardware is pennies on the dollar. Imagine it will take a few years but we will have a Chinese company that sells units like wildfire and will probably be a better product than mother Deere. The. Just like hauwei got the boot from USA sales Deere will have whoever it is competing against them banned. Guess the real difference is less than what .001% of the population actually cares about this and even less are in the market to buy it. Unlike cellphones everyone has one or 2 in their pocket.

And I wouldn't say it's because Deere has a dealer network or support. None of my Deere dealers know anything about gps, and I would hate to be in that 5 week wait to get in the shop to diagnose a software update or something.
