Little Eqypt - Southern Illinois
Great answer!!

It is also my understanding the JD and Outback's version or product they call RTK is not RTK and it is all an advertising gimmick. Is this true as well? Isn't RTK an trade mark of Trimble?

Having used auto-steer on both planting tractor, tillage tools and on the combine I can tell you that precision is addictive, and when you have to go back to HP or WAAS, steering becomes work again. Its the difference between not touching the thing and hitting nudge all day long.

I would not combine another acres of beans without auto-steer.
