Faunsdale, AL | JD 310D backhoe…Probably lots of others with the same reverser. Think it was a BorgWarner torque converter/reverser unit they used.
Typically back hoe on an old one is sloppy and leaks but front loader is usually in pretty good shape. They’ll push with all that rear weight.
Other brands of wheel loaders but not JD…..don’t think they had any with a torque converter. None of their farm tractors did either that I know of.
All the older CAT wheel loaders have TC ……maybe newer ones too? I mean really old……….first ones they made were 922/944 in the 1960’s.
