Sheridan Mi | Ya know, I might have heard about doing it back when I was in high school or something, but to be honest, it wasn't something that even sounded familiar to me when it came up. We always had the vet dehorn and vaccinate Holstein heifers when we milked cows. We've used Angus bulls since we went to the beef cattle over 20 years ago. I'd got a Hereford steer here out of a black cow that I bought cheap and he has horns. Now I'm wondering if I should try it on him. I sure hate to do something that'll risk his life though, as nice as he looks. | |
