I banded a group of yearlings at a neighbor's request. Calicrate bander, then duct tape around the band to keep it from sliding and then from rubbing it off. It worked, kinda. They were agitated for what seemed like two weeks, some got the band rubbed off, took a month or longer to finally fall off. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't.
That was a mixed review on banding horns LOL...
