Maybe they helped…….probably they did……had no coccidiosis anyway! Used both for several years before switching to pasteurized milk and continued after that. The pasteurized waste milk made more difference than the other in my opinion. But it was probably all additive.
I used the Decoxx M at 2X rate for those baby calves but they were growing so by the time the dose per pound of body weight was tailing off, they were eating starter with the Bovatec.
When you’re using something for a problem that it’s not known or certainly not proven to work on, you have to convince yourself it’s working and worth doing. I wasn’t convinced beyond a shadow of doubt, but I told myself they weren’t going to have coccidiosis and would be getting the growth promoting effect of Bovatec so it was money well spent.
