Western Oregon | Only way I can eat asparagus. But I fry it some to render some fat, wrap and bake it. Been a while, I don't make bacon anymore and any bought is expensive without nitrates and nitrites so I just go without. My bacon fix is about twice a year at Burgerville with a bacon burger. made without chemicals, just fruitwood smoke and 1/4 lb grass fed
