Which bull would you pick of these 2 based solely on looks alone. Same sire, roughly same EPD profile, but the 2nd bull is 1 week younger and 200 lbs heavier. Breeder is trying to lean me towards the bigger bull as they seem to really like him (they showed him, that's why ring in nose) I kind of prefer the look of the other bull though, although he may have a big head. The bigger bull is taller and a lot squarer.
Edit and to throw a twist into it, I'll add a black brother in the mix. Same weight as the smaller red, all have pretty much same BW and epds.
Like a few others - - - I'd love to see them move AND their feet.
My pick #4, #1 for first and second choice.
I find they're all on the postie legged end of the spectrum.
(Means that they just won't last like the red monster you had for so many years!!! He had a pretty good balance on his back legs (between postie and sickle hocked).) |
