Not sure I have never done it. I will say that if you are buying sale barn cows that are untested likely be at least 1/3 pregnant when you buy them. Why not buy a slightly better than avg heifer guaranteed open and start from there? Way more upside and a lot less headaches. Decent weigh up cows here are 105 to 120 cwt.
