I'm in SW IL. We've got pasture and lot space, along with access to several sale barns and economically priced feed. More or less I see it as an opportunity to keep exposure in the market and run more cattle over time without building more lot/barn space or aquiringng more land. That being said I have no experience with the world of having cattle custom fed.
